Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. So love the people who treat you right. Forgive the ones who didn't. Believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it! If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said it would be easy. They just promised it would be worth it.

Mountain House and Central Oregon

Hello all!  It has been a whirl wind of holiday time... but with all that winding down, and Winter Term upon us, we decided to take a trip to Central Oregon with our roommates and our friend Sarah.  Sarah's family has a house in Camp Sherman, which is about 15 or so miles from Sisters Oregon.  It is a big house so lots of Sarah's friends came along!  Te boys went up Thursday, but I had to work Friday, so I drove out by myself Friday afternoon.  It was icy and snowy on my way over, so the drive wasn't very fun by myself, but I'm glad I did it.  On Saturday we got up, went for a jog, showered and went into Sisters, then into Bend.  Fun fact: Bend has a Porsche dealership.  We went in to check out the cars they had, and I mustered up the courage to sit in the driver's seat of the Panamera.  They look like this.  It is Porsche's only sedan, but it is HUGE.  It is basically a Porsche for someone who isn't willing to get a regular sedan in order to take their family with them.  It only seats four (the back seat has only 2 seats, the middle has an elaborate cup holder with wood trimmings.)

But I got to sit in the drivers' seat... of a real one!  It was so elaborate and luxurious on the inside.  This particular one was a dark blue with the tan interior (Dave wasn't a fan of the tan... but I thought it was just beautiful!).  Steering wheel and flappy paddles were aluminum. I just sat in there for about 10 minutes admiring how well everything was put together.

If only I had a million dollars...

The rest of the trip was fun though.  Got to see a pretty sunset or two, and got to spend lots of time with Dave and my roommates!
