Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. So love the people who treat you right. Forgive the ones who didn't. Believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it! If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said it would be easy. They just promised it would be worth it.

Barista Certification! Updated 10/22!

As some of you know, I took a certification exam for the Barista Guild of America when we went to Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) Event this year.  I had to to take a written and a practical exam.  So happy to be official!  I have received a beautiful certificate (which I have printed, but it still needs a frame), the above pin (which I wear every day at work), and my name is on the official list.

I was recently asked (by my tattoo artist) if I was going to compete anytime soon.  I told him no, that I'm not ready yet, but I work 5 or 6 days a week making exceptional specialty coffee drinks. I think I may try my hand at a latte art competition.  We shall see!
